Session Description

Koch Business Solutions (KBS) successfully launched a new service portal, Compass, for 70,000+ employees this past year. The easy part: replacing the aging SharePoint site with the new Service Portal in Helsinki. The hard part: integrating 3rd party systems into the portal to create a seamless user experience. KBS integrated a knowledge base, Active Directory requests, direct-to-vendor product purchases, and a chat system from different SAAS and on premise systems. We also integrated Google Analytics to report on various site usage aspects. Now, you too can learn how to integrate 3rd Party systems in your own company portal. In this seminar, learn about the steps taken to bridge the gap between multiple systems for the knowledge base solution and metric tracking in Google Analytics to provide the ultimate user experience in the new Helsinki Service Portal.
